Joe Perkins is a London based session guitarist and postgraduate from City University London and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, BMus(Hons), M.A. Joe performs in many styles, ensembles, solo performances and pit bands for musical theatre; most notably, upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s (residency), The Jazz Café, The Royal Albert Hall Verdi, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Milton Court (Barbican), The Royal Academy of Art, Le Quecumbar (house band) and BBC Radio. Joe is in the process of writing and recording for his own project alongside some of London’s best up-and-coming jazz and session musicians.

Joe is a widely experienced and established private music tutor, working in St. John’s Wood, London – He has many references from pupils and parents which attest to his exceptional professionalism. Joe has also worked in the state sector as a peripatetic and classroom teacher. He is a visiting accompanist at the GSMD and Goldsmiths University of London and has previously worked with ‘Brains & Hunch – Music For Moving Image’.
